I am the eldest of all the daughters and took care of my younger siblings as we were growing up and that was how my love for interacting with young children grew :) I first came to Melbourne in 2016 and I am still loving it as much as when I first arrived. Over the past 4 years in Melbourne, I had the opportunity to care for an amazing family while I was doing my degree. I cared for 3 children ranging from ages 4 months to 12 years old. Some examples of my duties are: - Bottle feeding (for infants) - Nappy changing - Simple and healthy meal preparation - School pick ups and drop offs - Homework supervision/assistance - Helping with bedtime routine (bathe/ bedtime stories). - Organising excursions (zoo/aquarium/museum/picnic in the park) - Light housekeeping duties (tidying up toys etc.) Back in Singapore, I worked in an After-School Student Care Centre as a Teaching Assistant. My duties in this job was: - Manage class of 25 students. - Guidance of students’ homework. - Maintain order in the classroom and ensure students’ safety, welfare and security protocol are met at all times. - Maintain regular communication with parents on their child’s progress/development. My style of nannying is that I keep screen time to the very minimum. I love keeping kids active and letting them run around in open spaces to play and have fun. I am stern when necessary to set boundaries. Your child's safety is my top priority and you can have full assurance that my attention will 101% be set on them. I have all necessary documents (WWCC, first aid, National Police Check) for me to work legally with children. It is with great pleasure that I highly recommend Ling as your potential babysitter. She watched my my three children aged 2, 5 and 7 on 4 separate occasions and it was a joy having her around. I am a stay home mum so I hired Ling on casual jobs.
Ling always arrived on time and was never once late. She's always very cheerful and ready to engage the children with hands on activities. There was once occasion where she even brought over some board games for the children to play with. I was really impressed with that. She is a very intelligent and kind individual. My kids loved having Ling around and is always looking forward to spending time with Ling again.
In addition, Ling is a very easy person to work with and she followed every instruction that I gave to her with regards to the children (food, bedtime, TV allocation time) and they respect her authoritative figure. On special occasions where I still need babysitting services, I still am engaging Ling. She holds a valid WWCC, first aid certificate and driver's license.
By hiring Ling, you can rest assure that your children will be safe under her care. Ling takes full responsibility and pride in her work and I can justify for that. Ling is fun and any family that hires her is very fortunate to have her as an employee.
I hired Ling on a casual basis as a baby sitter for my 2 children (aged 5 and 8). Ling followed my instructions very well and kept me updated on how my kids were doing throughout the day.
There was an incident where my kids where physically being rough with each other and Ling knew how to be stern and set boundaries when the kids were playing. She knows how to take initiative as well, which I really appreciate.

I'm a visitor from New Zealand and needed last minute baby sitting services for my 3 kids as some friends wanted to meet up. I engaged Annette for 8 hours and she did a fantastic job! She engaged the kids in various fun activities and they really enjoyed it. Annette is a very detail oriented person and took the initiative to give me hourly updates on how my kids were doing. My kids enjoyed Annette's presence and they keep asking when she will be back again. Do consider hiring Annette as your next baby sitter as I am sure she'll be a fantastic candidate :)
