Hi, my name is Tia. I have a Bachelor of Psychology and I am currently studying a Master of Teaching (Primary). I currently work in the child protection system and I have a background in mental health, disability, and aged care. I have 3 dogs whom I adore. My husband and I were previous foster carers for an animal rescue (and then we adopted too many). I currently volunteer as a mentor for children in foster care through the Pyjama Foundation. I love working with children and I have come to base my career and studies around them. I am very patient and kind. I work with a lot of children with high needs and behavioural issues so I have a good tool box of positive behaviour management techniques so managing those tantrums won't be a problem.
