My previous job as a support worker, working with children involved providing support for children to enable them to successfully participate and engage in community, social and recreational activities. Before that I had been working for the Queensland Department of Education for over 3 years, supporting students with various learning and social emotional needs as well as students with disabilities. Assisting students in their academic studies who have physical, Intellectual and behavioural difficulties. Implementing learning programs such as Speech Therapy, Occupational Therapy and social skills programs, for children in a one on one, small group and whole class environment. Since the age of 12 I have been coaching and teaching children and adults to Sail at the “Discover Sailing Center” at Manly. I have worked for Helping Hands before and after school care and holiday care from 2019 -2020.
