Hi there. I'm from California and I’ve worked with children for 11 yrs. My US care.com boasts a 5.0 rating based on 10 reviews. Unfortunately, I could not carry them over. In my youth I worked as a camp counselor. I planned the curriculum, led activities, and supervised the children. In Dec 2014, I began working at a preschool. I worked with a variety of children aged 4 months to 9 yrs. I led circle time, taught letters and sounds, read stories, facilitated tummy time, introduced solids, and helped with snacks and lunch. I have 9 early childhood education units, which is a Cert 3 here in Sydney and I’m certified in CPR/first aid. In 2020 I worked as a nanny and In-home educator, facilitating and supervising Montessori/play-based activities, helping with homework and online learning during COVID-19, and even teaching English to a child of 2 who only spoke Chinese. My last position before coming to Sydney was working as a nanny for a wonderful family whose daughter was 6 months at the start of my employment. I helped create routines with tummy time, nap, and sleep schedules, and with solids, crawling, and walking. In Sydney I have worked as a nanny and as an assistant ballet teacher. I currently work at a long daycare.
