Hi! My name is Maeve and i have over 6 years experience in nanying and babysitting. I have also had extensive experience working with children and youth in a volunteer capacity over the past 4 years. This has been through various leadership roles at summer and term holiday programs, and my local youth group. I'm currently studying in my third year of Law/Global Studies at ACU and work part time at a cafe. I have a certificate in First Aid Level 2 or HLTAID003 and have had a regular teaining in child and youth safety. I'm also happy to cook/clean/drive/help with homework!

I’ve personally known Maeve since she was 16, and myself 18. I remember immediately being struck not only by her kind and completely genuine nature, but also that despite being “only 16” (a big gap for me at that age!) her maturity levels were above and beyond even what all of my own friends were. I have seen that kindness, that genuine nature and that calm, loving person grow to be now nearly 21, and honestly, only improving with each year. I could sit here all day and write about the many qualities Maeve possesses: her consideration for others, the fact that she somehow not only remembers all her friends’ tea and coffee preferences but also their favourite brand preferences, their dietary needs, their favourite foods, and as a result, the inevitable fact that you can never just catch up for a coffee without Maeve casually presenting to you a little basket of all the above, given with a flippant “oh just a few things I saw in the past week that I knew you’d like.” But, despite all these qualities, the main one I would like to stress about Maeve is her completely and utter unselfishness. I deeply know that her work for your family would not only involve unparalleled levels of dedication but also a level of selflessness, to the point where if she was trying to get your baby to sleep, she would use every ounce of energy that she possesses while trying every loving tactic under the sun to make sure your baby got to sleep, or your toddler got into the pram, or your child had dinner, or a bath or got into bed without her ever breaking a sweat and never, ever raising her voice above a calm hushed tone. Not only that - but she’d probably be able to do all that in about 5 minutes ! In all seriousness, there is not a person under the sun who would take better, more loving care of your children than Maeve Elrington - and back to the jokes- that might even have to include you!
