I finished my bachelor in early childhood studies and bachelor in primary education April of 2015 at The University of Newcastle. Whilst studying I was a casual preschool teacher. Since graduating, I casually teach in primary schools and preschools so I can do nannying work as I really enjoy this work. Building a strong relationship with families and children through my work is important to me. It creates trust between everyone and eliminates barriers allowing approachable communication with one another. Creating a safe learning/living environment is priority. With children feeling safe, they are able to create the trusting relationship between carer and child. With your child in my care, they will not only be cared for, but also learning. Engaging children in everyday activities are great learning experiences and I aim to create learning from almost any and every daily activities. Children learn best from what they are doing and what is surrounding them. They easily relate to it and learn from being involved within it.
