Hello :) My name is Jes, I am a reliable and bubbly 27 year old. I am a responsible and experienced sitter who looks forward to interacting with children and helping them learn while ensuring they have fun and are safe. I have been babysitting since I was about 12 years old (so 15 years) and have experience with all age groups, especially babies. I am the eldest of four children, myself (27), a younger sister (24) and two little brothers (8 & 9). I am currently near completion of my Diploma in Early Childcare and work full time at an education and childcare centre. My background, however, is in the creative arts and architecture industries, and as such, I love doing arts and crafts with the children and am big on getting kids excited about reading books or even building on their skills with various other activities or experiences. I have experience with children with special needs, speech challenges and autism. I intend on going on to study speech pathology next year, so am very passionate about my interactions and communications with children. Of course the children are my number one priority, but I am also happy to help out around the house, cooking, cleaning etc. As a child educator, below is my vision of the kind of care I aim to provide everyday when working with children.
