I’m 25 and have been working with children and young adults since I was 19. Though I majored in Animal Sciences, I’ve always aspired to be a teacher. This led me to my work as a learning support assistant and eventually a tutor for students with mild learning conditions in an agricultural college. Here, I supported students with both visual and hearing impairments, ASD, ADHD, epilepsy and difficult home backgrounds. I came out travelling to Australia, working as an Au Pair for 3 months with Sole responsibility of 3 children under 5 Years old. When continuing my travels with my best friend, we ended up delivering her baby, unbeknownst to us that she was even pregnant the entire time we’d travelled! With my experience in childcare and my passion to care and support others, I supported and co-raised little Harry whilst we waited for Covid-19 to ease and his passport to arrive. I’m currently based in Brisbane City 4000 and am a reliable and adaptable individual. I’ve references, a Blue Card valid until 2022 and a police check. I am also paediatric first aid and CPR trained with some knowledge of BSL sign language and have undertaken seminars to improve my communication and understanding of the needs of individuals with different learning abilities.
