I enjoy working in this industry as I have a strong passion for children. I find it extremely rewarding to support them physically and emotionally. I get great satisfaction out of watching each individual child grow and develop into their own unique personality. I have worked with children since I was a child - 8 years old, volunteering at a horse riding school. I also have experience with children through my family life. I have experience through recent volunteer work in pre schools and a primary school. I have catered to children of ages 2 months and over. I have extensive experience working with children with special needs (Autism, Asperger’s Syndrome). I currently babysit ages 4 months - 11 years old. My current families range from an engineer, lawyers, a paramedic and a Chief Executive Officer of 4 Anglican Schools in the Hunter. I have two permanent part time jobs throughout the week on Tuesday and a fortnightly Wednesday. I am working towards a Bachelor of Primary/Early Childhood Teaching at Newcastle University. I am happy to do evening work or day time shifts around my other commitments. I will only do a minimum shift of 4 hours for people 45 – 60 kilometres away from my home. I enjoy the outdoors, animals, horse riding, music, art and dancing. I can implement my skills from the following interests into your child’s life in a fun, yet educating way. I have a bubbly, silly personality and believe I can successfully entertain children of all ages.
