Hello parents. My name is Caity and I am 22 years old. I'm currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Education at La Trobe University. I have over two years of experience caring for and engaging with primary school - aged children through Out of School Hours Care services which I coordinate Monday to Friday and have over four years experience babysitting children from 18 months to 10 years. Through my experiences at university and OSHC, I've developed skills to support children's development and learning in fun and engaging ways. I'm very active and love getting involved in activities with the kids I'm caring for, whether it be playing sport, board games, singing and dancing, or helping out with homework. Through my current employer, I have completed additional training in child protection, food handling, first aid, behaviour management, and additional needs support. I do not mind completing light household duties while children are otherwise occupied or asleep. Duties can include washing and folding clothing, kitchen cleaning, toy clean up, or general house tidying.
