Angeline is my sister, but I have engaged her talents at a professional level.
In the winter of 2019 she traveled to Belgium to live with me and be a nanny to my two daughters (then 10 months and 4 years old).
It was Belgian summer holidays, the kindergartens and schools were shut.
My husband and I both worked full-time, so the kids were left to Angeline's care.
Angeline had only met the children briefly in the past, and yet did an incredible job of caring for them.
Juno was only 10 months old, and could be very demanding.
Luna was 4 years old, but almost entirely Dutch-speaking (not a language Angeline was familiar with).
Angeline took on the following tasks:
Preparing baby and child appropriate food and feeding
Changing nappies (also re-useable ones)
Bathing the children
Providing fun and engaging activities
Putting the baby to bed
Taking the children out - including learning to cycle safely on the road with a cargo bike

Angeline's care and attention to detail is superb.
She always presents herself well and is an excellent communicator.
She can work independently, but will let you know if something is unclear or if she needs clarification.

If we lived in the same country she'd be unavailable to work as a babysitter: I would be hoarding all her free moments for my daughters and myself!
