Hello, I'm Alex. I currently work as a full-time lecturer at a University. I have two cats - sister rescue kittens, Ruby and Astrid (3 yrs old). I also have 4 nieces and nephews under 8 years old and I often care for them on my own. I have a calm and patient personality, which also shows in my classroom lessons. When I lived in Melbourne, and during my PhD, I did a lot of babysitting and caring, particularly for demanding little toddlers - I had about 3 regular clients in Melbourne's inner North. I haven't done much babysitting since I arrived in Canberra in 2017 (aside from Aunty duty!) I also volunteered at a homework help service run by the Brotherhood of St Laurence in Fitzory in ********* helping high school kids with a refugee background. I'm based in Lyneham, and I'm available for babysitting in Canberra civic or the inner North. I don't have a car, I cycle everywhere or catch public transport - so I'm unable to service areas too far out of the inner North of Canberra, sorry.
